Advices and Tips for Wedding Dances and Parties...
- Make sure to buy the shoes for the wedding in advance. So you can try to dance your wedding dance in them. Uncomfortable shoes will make your dance less enjoyable. In our experience, some couples are using dance shoes for their wedding. The dance shoes are the most comfortable shoes you have ever tried and you can find them in a variety of colors in the dance stores. Our links will make your findings easier...
- For the last two dance lessons, we recommend to dance in a long dress or skirt to get a different feeling. You won’t believe it, but it makes a huge difference in a dance for both partners.
Our best suggestion is also to practice at home as much as you can. It makes a big difference. At home you will feel more relaxed and creative, so when you come back for your private lesson we can use your creativity, individuality and confidence.
Your weeding dance is almost ready but you have some lessons left. Hmm.. Here are your options:
- Option 1: You can use your remaining lessons to learn a couple of other dances, just basic steps, so when your party is on you continue to impress your guests.
- Option 2: You can use your lessons and make a special Father-Daughter dance and /or Mother-Son dance. It is a wonderful opportunity to thank them for all their work. This type of dance always adds a warm touch to your wedding.
- Option 3: You can use your dance lessons after your wedding day and learn some hot salsa moves or extravagant tango, or fast paced swing or romantic rumba.
- Have ready a CD with your wedding song for your DJ. It is important to let the DJ know where to end your song and how you are finishing the dance (deep, spin, etc.) It will allow your DJ to fade the song when it needs to be done.
- We can also offer you to come with your close circle of friends and family to the studio and rehearse your wedding dance. It feels different when your guests are watching you. We will make this lesson as a party and your guests will learn some dances too.
- It is not uncommon to feel stressed when experienced dancers practice on a dance floor with you. We recommend requesting one of our private rooms so you can focus on steps and choreography.
Keep wondering... Keep smiling… Keep surprising each other… and start dancing!
